Zach is our new (read: returning) design director. His leadership ability and eye for awesome design has made him the perfect asset to the team. 1.Tell us a fact about yourself.

Fact: Born and raised in Montana.

2. What is your favorite part about your job?

I love the process of working with someone from the beginning with just a concept to the conclusion when the full story and idea is finalized. That journey and discover is fun to be part of.

3. If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

Lavender (Its sort of an inside joke with my friends). 

4. What is the best place to eat in Sioux Falls?

That is a difficult answer... We have so many good local restaurants in Sioux Falls. But if I have to choose one I am currently loving Pho Quynh Vietnamese Restaurant.

5. What is something you are passionate about?

I'm passionate about helping people. Whether it is with a website, or spiritual matters, helping people is something I am drawn to and enjoy doing.

6. What do you want to see change/grow in the world of marketing?

I want to see businesses put their marketing efforts towards telling a captivating story vs. loud and pushy ads. Today the audience isn’t interested in what you’re doing, they only care about how or why you do it. Storytelling is a great form of marketing and I am excited about how 5J is doing this effectively.

7. Who in the office would you most like to swap jobs with?

I don't think I would swap anyone, I love my job because I get to balance time with people and I get time to also design. Best of both worlds.

8. What is the last book you read or the last show you watched?

I love the show on Netflix called "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" with Jerry Seinfeld.

9. What is the coolest thing you are working on right now?

Outside of my job at 5J I am in the process of writing a book. This for me is a different creative box that is challenging and exciting at the same time.
